Teeth scaling (scaling gigi) at FTS Chin Dental costs RM100–RM200 per visit. It’s one of only two treatments we can price up front, because a routine clean is predictable — the range simply reflects how much build-up there is to clear away.
Three things decide where you land in that range:
- How much tartar has built up. Hardened plaque that’s been left for a year or two takes longer to remove than the light film someone gets who cleans every 6 months.
- The state of your gums. Inflamed or bleeding gums need a gentler, more careful clean, which can take a little more time.
- How long since your last scaling. The longer the gap, the more there is to do — which is exactly why regular visits keep both your gums and your bill healthy.

What is scaling and why does it matter?
